I recommend every client call the number for behavioral health on the back of their insurance card and ask:

Do I have a deductible for outpatient mental health therapy and if so, how much it is? How much of my deductible is met for the year? When does deductible reset?Do I have a copay/cost share per session and if so, how much is it?

Choosing a therapist
I recommend reading the "About Me" section of this website and going with your gut instinct if you think I am someone you will feel comfortable working with. Also look at my background to see if you feel I will be able to help you meet the goals you are setting for yourself.
Commitment
Counseling is a commitment of time, energy and money. Evaluate where you are with each and determine if you are able to make a commitment to the counseling process. At intake, bring any questions you may have and be prepared to let me know about any obstacles that might impede your process. Discussing up front helps us address those issues immediately and create a plan that works for you. This is your counseling and YOU are in the drivers seat!
Telehealth
Please ensure you have a quiet, private location where you won't be interrupted to join your telehealth sessions.
